The PTOS is sponsoring a Virginia wine tour on Friday, November 10th.

The tour will leave at 9:30 a.m. from the Vienna Metro Station and visit the following wineries:

* Chrysalis
* Swedenberg
* Pearmund

The tour will return to the Vienna Metro Station at 4:30 p.m.

The cost is $45 and includes transportation and the tasting fees at all of the wineries.  Tickets must be purchased in advance to reserve a spot.

Space is very limited and available on a first come, first served basis from Paul Dickson in KNX 3A79.

Details:

1.  Please be at the Vienna Metro Station no later than 9:15 a.m.  We will meet at the NORTH side kiss & ride.  The bus is a 25 passenger mini bus from Chariots for Hire.  The Vienna Metro Station is accessible by the orange line metro train and taxi cab.  Parking is available at the station.

2.  The schedule is as follows:
  
* Gather at Vienna Metro Station 9:15 a.m.
* Leave Vienna Metro Station 9:30 a.m. sharp (39 minutes of travel time)
* Chrysalis 10:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (11 minutes of travel time)
* Swedenberg 12:15 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. (20 minutes of travel time)  
* Pearmund 2:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. (33 minutes of travel time) 
* Return to Vienna Metro Station 4:30 p.m.

Please be considerate of your fellow passengers and return to the bus on schedule.

3.  We will not be stopping for lunch so a picnic basket is good idea. Chrysalis has an outdoor picnic area, so dress warmly if the weather is cold or you can snack on the bus.  Please make sure that you bring bottled water to drink as you will be tasting a variety of wines.  Please take your trash with you when exiting the bus.
