JPTOS JOB ANNOUNCEMENT- ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In accordance with Article VI, Section 2 of the By Laws and Article VII of the Standing Rules of the Journal of the Patent and Trademark Office Society,
a vacancy is being announced to all active members of the Society in the position of Assistant Director of the Journal of the Patent and Trademark Office Society.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Demonstrated skill set to perform the duties as noted below.
• Previous publishing experience is a plus, but not necessary.
• Knowledge of Bluebooking is a plus, but not necessary
• Knowledge of basic accounting/bookkeeping is a plus, but not necessary
• Knowledge of web design and database management is a plus, but not necessary
DUTIES
• The Assistant Director shall assist the Executive Director, as well as Financial Director, in matters such as membership coordination, data entry,
mail retrieval, back issue fulfillment, customer service and documentation of the operating procedures.
SELECTION PROCESS
• All applicants must submit a qualifications statement.
• A personal interview may be conducted by the Executive Director, optionally including the entire Board of Governors.
• This position will be filled by the Executive Director and approved by the Board of Governors.
